Later, I was reading reviews and pleasantly surprised to find a link to a pinned discussion which contained a version where the mist had been successfully removed. Only a few hours after the game's arrival on Steam I found the pinned post by an administrator for NISA explaining that unofficial fan-made mods to remove the censorship would be allowed. I watched some gameplay of the US version for Vita and compared it to the Japan one as well as the sequel, Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors and what bothered me the most was the heavy pink mist obscuring nearly everything during the Motivation mini-games. Be aware due to the nature of this game's content there are going to be people fishing for likes or trying to troll or just clueless as to why the fanbase is upset over this censorship to begin with. I suggest that anyone do a bit of research not only within the community posts here but also out in the internet and become a bit more informed before making any decisions or accusations or conclusions. As a result, whatever censorshop exists in that is also going to be present in the Steam version. The reason why this game is censored is because it's a direct port of the PS Vita version for the US.
